With respect for tradition but also new ideas and applications in the art of clay, the Keramika Kostas Psaravtis workshop has been producing beautiful ceramics since 1994. Konstantinos and Maria work from their shop on the beautiful Cyclades Island of Sifnos. The long history of exquisite pottery on Sifnos can be attributed to the rich clay found on the island combined with the drying properties of consistent sunny days throughout the year.

CAN'T I GET SOMETHING LIKE THIS AT TJ MAXX?
Absolutely not! These are not mass produced. Hours of work go in to each piece. These are artisan, one of a kind, handcrafted, ceramic pieces. Each piece is individually crafted and unique.
HOW IS THE PRICE DETERMINED?
These are high quality artisan ceramics. Years of experience and hours of skilled work go into each piece. Overseas shipping and packaging must also be factored.
ARE THEY STRICTLY FOR DECOR?
While these pieces can stand alone as accent pieces in your home, they are all able to withstand low heat in an oven, are microwave safe, and although we recommend hand washing (dishwasher detergents can be harsh)- they are dishwasher safe.
CAN I MAKE A CUSTOM ORDER?
We have started with just a small sample of what is available. Casseroles, platters, pitchers, mugs are just some of the pieces Kosta produces.
